On 1 July 2018, David Ho Chi-hoo was appointed under Section 3(1)(b) of the Justices of the Peace Ordinance (Cap. 510) (commonly known as ‘Non-official JPs’). Mr Ho is honoured to be appointed by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as a Justice of the Peace.

The main function of JPs in Hong Kong is to visit correctional institutions and other institutions to ensure their effective management and that no individual is unfairly.
